so true. i have no respect for any brokers dishing out cheap freight as well as all the cut throats out there that are ok with hauling cheap. theyre screwing it up for all of us and making it easy for the brokers to get away with it. |

its called free enterprise! as long as people are willing to haul cheap brokers are gonna dish it out. 2.50 a mile aint no rate either !! best thing to do is dont deal with brokers!. get your own authority and go directly to the shipper. cut the middle man out ! brokers are just leaches sucking off the sorry ass people stupid enough to use em simple as that !!! | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Then you get the private cattle jockies who live on the starving drivers. I turned in bills for hauling from Marshfield MO, out to Kentuck and then reload right back to the same corrals. Gave them a deal at $3.25 per mile both ways and the wrote the check for $2.60. Told me thats all they ever pay. In Colorado I'd have a brand hold put on the cattle, here in MO im just screwed. I'll be patient and make it up with them later. |
