Would like to stress to anyone that is hiring to really double and triple check their new hire's background. We should all know this anyways. I normally do not post anything in this forum. My only reasoning for this is more towards the site itself. I know that due to disgruntled employee's or employer's name usage is a fine line. BUT lets just use my experience for an example. I personally hired a driver that called from my add on this site. Worked for 3 and a half weeks from me and robbed over $1400 from my fuel account above and beyond what his pay should have been. Now anyone that is on here that knows me and our company knows that we operate fairly and with honesty and the most respect we can to other company's, customer's, and driver's. Our company along with every other company on here can be rated on our work. I think it would be nice to see a section added to the site where a company could put out an alert on a perticular driver. Doesnt mean they have to verbaly bash them. BUT it would be a great way to give a Satisfactory or Un Satisfactory rating to a name. For those like myself that have used the site for advertisement for employement to keep from this happening to the next company. Or myself again. Not going to be the JUDGE on this but sounds to me to be more to the story........a fuel account is for fuel ONLY. So if the driver sold diesel for cash then its a feloney offense and thats the way "I" would go about handleing this kind of problem. If you give him a cc for fuel/cash advance then lesson learned and move forward. |

Thank you for your post. Will sum up in short that the point of this post was intended for the site as you read in original post. Not to concerned on this effecting my buisness but thank you for your advice. The true intent was to maybe have a way to leave reference for all types of drivers. GOOD OR BAD. In doing so when a company Such as ours could see if there is any RED flags on hiring a driver. Especially when they call from one of our adds on this site.
