Mandatory rule to prohibit interstate truck and bus drivers from using hand-held cell phones. Wonder where this bright piece of legislation floated in from? Suppose farmers with their fancy high dollar rigs and four-wheelers will be exempt. Manufactures of handless devices and government tax collectors, should be smiling from ear to ear! Throw more hard earned money down the tubes to support corrupt government bureaucrats in Washington! Probably want our cb,s next. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Drivers who violate the restriction will face federal civil penalties of up to $2,750 for each offense and disqualification from operating a commercial motor vehicle for multiple offenses. Commercial truck and bus companies which allow their drivers to use hand-held cell phones while driving will face a maximum fine of $11,000. Where will it stop!!!! | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |
