FUEL PRICES OF 8-22-11, I SEE NO FUEL UNDER 3.772. SO WHY ARE PEOPLE HAULING FOR LESS?

Posts: 16 		Fuel prices on the average as of 8-22-11. I see no fuel under 3.772. So why are people hauling for less? This is a do or die business people and the government would like nothing more than for to die. They want to be able to control the Trucking Industry. You all and I know that it takes great dedication to do what it is we do as cattle and livestock haulers. I understand that the shippers and receivers who ever is paying the trucking wants to get it done cheap, but as most of us are Owner Operators or work for a small to medium company it still take alot of money to stay afloat. So could we are please change the way of thinking, for example Let's stop cutting the rates, if you have taken a load from Ok to MO and your sitting in Mo and found a load to Western KS dont do it cheaper than the rest of us just so that you dont have to bounce to OK. If everyone took the load at full rate nothing less than 3.90 grant allowing for the fuel cost weather is up or down, then it would make it easier out here for the people that want to servive in this business. The more people that stand togeather on the rates gives us all a better chance of keeping the rates up and staying in business. I didn't write this to offend anyone.........I am just saying

If everyone would agree to shut down we could put a end to a lot of the harassment and bullshit in are part of the trucking industry
