well from a driver stand point, i pull a merroit 53 spread seams to be more stable than a tandem, though inside gates seam to be a bit cheaply made, wilson are well built, but don't have the areodine curves like a merroit, tires ware more with a spread. you can get around tight corners little easier with a spread, if you have rear dump valve installed. used to be merroitt was perfered cowboy trailer, wilson are a little better built, you can get either one with a bull nose now too, you have varance between drivers on trailers some perfer one more than the other, stay away from EBY they are heavier. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I PULL A CLOSED TANDEM AND HATE IT CAUSE WITH A SPEAD U GET 40,000 ON THE SPREAD WITH A CLOSED TANDEM YOU ONLY GET 34,000 LBS SO I WOULD GO WITH A SPREAD IF I COULD CHOSE. |

ALSO ITS A WILSON BUT COMPANY I PULL FOR HAVE SOME SPREAD AXLE WILSONS AND THEM HOLD UP BETTER THEN THE TANDEM SO I HAVE SCEEN.SPREADS ARE BUILT TO PUT UP WITH MORE ABUSE AND HAUL MORE WEIGHT LEAGEL AXLE WEIGHTS |
