In the last year we have had 4 trucks pulled out of westgo truckstop parking lot in abilene tx and weighed on their scale and inspected all resulting in some bs fine and a couple overweight tickets on the truckstop scale. Makes me feel really appreciated to spend 2k filling my three trucks at their pump only to get screwed on their scale by their dot buddies. So needless to say we won't be going back there any longer. Bite the hand that feeds you it won't take long before your parking lot will be empty except for black and white tahoes but I guess selling coffie and 9 dollar scale fees will keep them in bussiness. thats why i wont run on that stretch of I 20. If he spots a cow truck he will weigh and inspect until he gets a violation, then will quit inspecting. I will go around that at all costs. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

Thanks for that advice , never woulda figured that at on my own. Obviously you missed the point and don't understand what I was getting at. Don't thing it right that truck stop allow DOT to set up shop in their parking lot. Overweight or not they gona nail you for something, so next time your around that area ease on by there and see what kinda feeling u leave with. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

Your comment is about the most dumbest comment I have seen on this site.

Ok driver, was a warning to those of us who not know it all. Sometimes when you haul cattle u load on a ranch and have to use a truckstop scale to weigh!

Bud, I wasn't trying to be a smart guy. I know what you are talking about. I guess what I was hinting at is, that perhaps theres a little money involved between certain truckstop owners and certain uniformed people. Thats all I was tryin to say REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE
