I like the left side myself. The reason is cattle can run straight in or out and when they are wild and on the hook it makes it a little easier

Loaded and unloaded with both of these ways and have to agree. The straight shot to the back helps alot when off loading.
Havent seen many with the right side counterbalance either.

we have a trailer with a right side counter balance and I think its a pain in the butt... But maybe its because im used to my trailer which has a left side counter balance... But I do agree with the straight shot in and out. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE
