I'm gonna be hauling pretty much all hogs and have heard 24.5's are better for running alot of gravel roads getting into these sites and stuff. most of you all are cow hauling I know but just curious what your preferences are. If you do run 24.5's are you running the talls instead of the lo pros? |

I agree, Don't mess with the factory size on the truck. My truck runs lo-pro 22.5s and climbs the hills great. The trailer has 11r22.5s. The only issue I ran into was getting the trailer level, my truck sits much lower than what the trailer was made for. I ended up raising the 5th wheel 2" with steel bar stock. A little heavy, but solved the problem. (my merritt only had 9" clearance in the front) This and a little tweeking to the air suspension got me level and up to 13". |

thanks for the comments, I'm gonna stick with 22.5's. I just bought the truck and its got 4 steers on the drives. i was trying to figure out whether i wanted to swap all 8 out for 24.5 or just replace the 4- 22.5 for now. |
