It keeps cattle cleaner during transit. If there’s enough put down it cleans super easy can just about sweep it out. Keeps the hoove noise down, if your hauling sheep goats pigs it makes them easier to load rather than the bright clean trailer. Keeps the splatter off the walls and the driver. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

Everything you said just took the fun out of it I love the sound of tapp dancing in my trailer I love the splatter on the trailer and my clothes so what's the real reason there's gotta be more to it than just staying clean REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

I haul a lot of cripples, realizers, or a long haul loads… bed for feeders, sort the the uglys to the back, always throw a bail there…. Put one over the counter for sure in the winter… remember …a Chilled cow is fine a wet cow is dead, and one that Lays derictly on the aluminum is way less likely to get up when you find her. Loaded a lot of uglies that the yard man laughed and said I bet you have at least 3 dead on that load and had them all walk off. Take off slow, stop slow, check your cows and ride the speed of the rode… spring time thaw you have frost heaves slow down, curves go even slower and always know your a bull hauler so be cool dong it! Yeah 10-4 that makes since for cripples but for feeders I mean there putting all them shaving down for what if you got feeders going down somebody didn't load the wagon right it's almost like they think a cowhauler pulls a horse trailer now days and ? Who pays for all that shavings ain't cheap

We make the buy pay for them if they want them in the trailer a lot of trailers the rubbers are worn outt and not replaced so the cows in the baller have shit in there backs that why most buys want them the owners of the trailers don’t want to fix something like that they may have to turn down a load with it being slow and rates suck they don’t fix them they make bank it’s not there truck the truck cost the most for everyone the haulers get the short in everytime. They tell them I have a sick one need to not go it will be ok just load it go get to the lot it’s dead who pays the driver then they act like they never said anything about a sick one one dead calf can be as much as the load pays not counting fuel and your endorsements and insurance. There’s actually a lot of reasons for shavings keeps them clean winter time keeps them warm and from freezing to the floor soaks up water in the belly and even if you don’t bed the whole trailer you should always put a bag over your counter balance just to keep shit from dripping down on the cattle in your bottom front cut you can’t put a price on taking pride in a job well done they are 5-6 bucks a bag so 20 bucks to bed down a trailer not that expensive REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE
