Myself and all the guys I run with all pull Wilson pots. We all think they are the best because of the all riveted construction that lets them flex instead of breaking welds. What are the pros and cons to all the other brands? Eby, Barrett, Merritt? | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Maybe I should ask this a different way. I am thinking about ordering a new Barrett, does anyone have any experience with Barretts? | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Just do yourself a favor and stick with Wilson IMO its only Wilson and Merrit seems to be the general consensus. The Barrett's are generally really heavy and poorly made , although i think its cool they still offer a slat trailer and EBY is just not a legit option. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Dont know what you have against EBY bought this one new In 2014 still pulls good 1.5 million miles brakes and bushings all i Have ever replaced they too are riveted It is true Barrett slat sides are 2,000 pounds heavier and the welds Do break but their punch side is also riveted | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I have a '12 and '13 Wilson, I know most everybody in my area pulls Wilson(although we are only an hour away from where they're built so that might make us bias) But I've always been the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" type. Just my 2 cents. |

I Started with a Wilson and then bought a Barrett and loved it. Had three more and then another Wilson. Got rid of that fir a Merritt, and then back to a Barrett, and I just ordered a new Barrett yesterday. I think Wilsons are heavy and pull hard. My mileage goes up .5 to .75mpg more than when pulling a Wilson. Floors will last three times longer. Yes, the floor sheets are welded to the cross members so if youre in and out of pastures or odd angles there is a little welding maintenance, but the rest of the trailer is riveted just like a Wilson. Added benefit is I'll put up with a little welding on a trailer that is $13k+ cheaper to buy new. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |
