With LW Miller making the announcement, they are exiting the livestock hauling business because of multiple reasons, and one of them being rates. It's high time the rest of you start charging what it should pay $6.50 $7.00 a loaded mile plus fuel surcharge. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

If all the owner ops would come together and operate somewhat as a union as far as rates go we could control the market being livestock is a high percentage owner ops I'm not talking about price gouging but if rates don't go up we are the ones that struggle from it and not just everyone is lining up to do the job so we may as well make a good living doing the job | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

You are right there is no reason to run at. A loss the rates should be a dollar a mile plus the price of fuel. That should the bottom rate, I've parked my truck. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |
