There should be a rate for pig haulers and a rate for actual Cattle Haulers. No self respecting Cow Man should load a truck that has hauled Damn Pigs. This would fix the rate problem. It has always been like that. A guy that will haul pigs does not belong ANYWHERE in Cattle country. Wake up Cowboys and stick by the Code. You guys keep cutting the rate because you are coming to Cow country for a backhaul. It is BS and always will be. Park your Cattle Truck and see how the pig haulers screw sh%&t up. It's not Rocket science gentlemen. If it does not pay enough for you to use your Cattle Sense and good equipment DO NOT HAUL IT. Did you ever see Mr Favor or Rowdy Yates herding PIGS. gotta be coming from a local fat lot hauler.....cause any self respected pig hauler gets just as much if not more to move those hogs 1000 miles from NE to TN. your next door neighbors cutting rates on those fats too, you just think its someone else... wake up its all around you! Whether you're a Cow hauler or Pig hauler, we're all out here doing the same job. We're all transporting livestock responsibly from one place to another, trying to get home safe to our family, all the while trying to make a buck after the government gets their cut. Everyone's bottom line is different. So, just because a Cow hauler can't make it work on the rate that a Pig hauler can doesn't necessarily mean it's cutting the rate. We ought to be trying to cut "the man" out of our rates! REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

2.40 and 3.30 / mile that is the problem if you hauling for that rate per loaded mile that 2.40 needs to be a running mile for all miles empty and loaded and that might cover fuel cost and insurance and wear and tear and drivers pay and if you’re frugal you might save some to replace tires and brakes and even equipment as it wears out ! But otherwise you are doing them a favor and wearing out your equipment and going broke ! Maybe not today or tomorrow but you will .

The only reason somebody would brag about hauling that cheap is for one the load gets you to cali to get your drugs and 2 when your on drugs you"ll haul for anythang hill come out for 330 and diesel is 400 and hire what a dumb ass
