I did 3 loads for a guy over a course of 5 days. Did two loads two days in a row then did the third load 2 days later. The night before the last load the guy said he would give me a check after delivering the last load. Once the trailer was unloaded he decided to tell me he wasn’t going to pay me because he wanted me to claim a down cow in his pasture that I delivered 2 days ago. My insurance only covers an entire load not one cow. Now he won’t answer my calls. How is this situation normally handled? I am new to owning a truck and trailer but would like input from some one who has been in this type of situation. My opinion is this guy is trying to get a load done for free but thats just my speculation. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE
