If you are green (new) to livestock I would try to find work at the the local Sale Barn on sale day, get to know how to handle cattle and meet the drivers that pick up the sale cattle. Be helpful and respectable to the people you come in contact with. There are some great people in the cattle business, but also some crooks. Learn how to spot a sick one and cripples. Let the guys know what you are trying to do and somebody will come along and help you. I would treat the first few months like a school maybe not much money at first. That is my suggestion. Good luck! |

Hey there I’m from California. I have my own truck want to get into cattle hauling. I’m from California. Out here how hard you think it is to get into it. Eventually I plan to relocate to Texas. I know out there it’s bigger | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |
