Just an FYI, I received a letter form the DotService.com which had my USDOT# on it. The letter stated my Biennial Update with DOT had expired and that if I didn't renew it may result in deactivation of my USDOT number and may result in civil penalties of up to $1,000 per day, not to exceed $10,000. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM. My Biennial Update(MCS-150) was current. Upon checking this site out, they asked for my credit card info right after putting in my DOT#. Not sure what would have happened if I had continued on, but wasn't willing to find out. I called the State of MN and as I suspected, they confirmed it as a scam. No one should pay for this service, you can do it online or your IRP people are more than happy to help you with this for FREE. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I got the same letter. It is a scam. I have someone that takes care of all of that type of stuff, and she confirmed a scam. |
