Let the federal D.O.T find out about unloading facilitys and we all will be unloading after eleven hours of driving adding more cost to the trucking industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I,ve been driving for 28 years and hauled cattle 1700 plus miles and had no troubles when the cattle are loaded right. Not saying pens are not a bad idea, if a truck breaks down. In my years of trucking the customers want there cattle from point A to B as quick as they can get there.

All depends on how much feed you are going to be feeding cattle or how many head of cattle you are feeding.  Different places do it by the head or by the load and the amount of time they need to rest.

We keep a pelleted medicated feed on hand i would have to get the specs on it. We would hand feed that once they were unloaded and they would have hay free choice. We do not feed cattle our location is an old livestock market that we own and only have 1 special sale a month at the location. we have inside pens that would be aval. in the winter months also. we have certified scales, 2 pot load outs and lots of room for cattle. i would be open to by the head or by the load charges.feel free to call me; eric 660-815-0361

its going to be hard trying to find any numbers to any buyers that want to rest cattle, considering the farmer on the other end will feel like he is getting taken  the cleaners, do to the lack of shrink...

I dont know why PPL need to get so pissy about a service that another is wanting to offer. I merely am offering a service to people that are using this type of service. There is no reason to be rude to someone for offering a service even if you do not agree with the type of service.           Thank you. eric

Just My Opinion

WITH THE NEW CSA2010 RULES COMING IN JULY AND DEPENDING ON HOW TOUGH THEY ARE IN ENFORCING THEM WE ALL ARE GOING TO BE LOOKING FOR PLACES TO UNLOAD CATTLE.  WE ARE THINKING ABOUT BUILDING A SET OF PENS IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA JUST FOR THAT REASON.  THE DAYS OF FAT CATTLE ALL DAY AND SALEBARNS AT NIGHT ARE GOING TO BE DONE.  ALOT OF PRODUCERS AND PACKERS ARE GOING TO BE IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING.  I ALSO THINK THESE RATES ARE IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING, AND IT IS TIME FOR US TO PUSH BACK AND GET THESE LOW BALL RATES OUT OF THE $2.20 PER GALLON FOR FUEL UP TO THE $3.04 PER GALLON OF FUEL.  DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK BUT BETWEEN BEING SLOW AND CHEAP RATES I AM PRETTY SURE WE ALL ARE GOING BACKWARDS.  WAKE UP AMERICA SHIT IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN AND SPRAY ALL OVER US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
