I agree with Joe Newton, we all have to keep a level playing field, and if you cant see whose accusing you of good or bad, you dont know how to fix the problem, example i got a rating or 1 by 2 different companies, I have never loaded or hauled for either one of these companies, and my familys' been doing this for 3 generations, so i called and asked them, they had me mixed up with another party with the same contact name, but different company and they went back and fixed the problem! Thank You C & S Trucking and Midnight Express for fixing the problem! | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I took a load from a trucking company dispatcher last fall from text messaging. The text was specific as to where the load was loading and where the load was unloading. I have never and don't ever plan to take a load from anyone without prior knowledge of its destination. Apparently this is foreign to the dispatcher I got the load from. I double checked the destination and the pay and everything looked ok. One way or another the load was going to end up on the route we wanted. Also, the health papers showed the destination (city and state) where the load was going to end up. Why wait around for several hours after getting loaded for a change of information you are not suppose to get? The load was going exactly the way we wanted to go anyway. Lets get these cattle on the road. After following directions and not being told to wait for any reason, the man decided to change the destination for the load. Had I known this was a possibility I would have never even taken the load, especially since it only ended up being a 50 mile haul in the wrong direction. I let it all go after some time of frustration only to come back to this website and see this new rating system with our company getting a 1 rating from this particular company. I guess I retalliated and did the same for his company. Two wrongs make a right, right? What a disappointing situation. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I scratch your back if you scratch my back is more like it....Brokers should rate truckers and truckers should rate brokers, that is if you want to see the real truth. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I think the rating system is a good tool. I was rated low today by a trucking company because i wouldnt give them a load. I thought it was in my companies best interest not to load them. I called them after they rated me and was told they rated me low because i wouldnt give them a chance to haul it. My experience in the past 20 years with dealing with this company has not always been favorable. I think I made the right choice. Mike Fuller MLX | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I like being able to see how you are rated and letting others see who rated you because it is obvious when there is a bad broker with a bad attitude towards you he/she will show the pattern in their rating, therefore a point well proven is in black and white so thank you for showing your ignorance. It is very funny that before ratings were being shown, Virginia had its only 5 star rated cattle broker until he was not allowed to rate himself....3.5 seems to be the worst among the cattle brokers. Keep up the good work JAK | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I think the rating system is awesome! You should be able to see your accuser and be able to confront them. It will keep everyone on a level playing field. Regards, Joe Newton | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Joe you don't confront them you just rate them the same thing they rated you. |

It really needs to be more involved than it is with a larger amount of questions-----for trucks timeline on unload as well as load-------then for the people passing out the loads they should be rated on days to pay as well as organazation. in getting you the orders where to load and unload. Then it would take more posting to drop a rating to a horrible point except on days to pay and they would be posted on actual days
This industry would be way better of f if the people passing out loads wernt allowed to bankroll themselves with another mans money---------they might think twice about hogging up loads they cant cover if they had a 15 day pay requirement |
