i cant put up company names on here. against forum policy. but anyone who has hauled for a guy out of "riverside,iowa" acting as a "LOGISTICS" company, and been ripped off needs to contact the "washington county iowa sheriffs investigators office" and let them know how much money you have been ripped off and that you want to press charges against the guy. he was arrested last night for parole violation for 1st degree theft. he was on parole on a 25 year bit for theft and forgery. since he has been on parole he has been brokering and double brokering cattle and freight loads under several differant business names and not paying. using our money to buy trucks,trailers, cars, etc. the amount is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. we need everyone to come forward with their info regardless of how little you were ripped off. he is in jail on parole violation but the feds and state investigators are building a case as we speak to make sure this guy never rips off another person in this industry. none of us will probably see our money unfortunately (unless they can sieze and sell his property), but heres your chance to kick him where it hurts and rack up the charges and help rid this industry of one more rip off artist. this investigator is a busy man so be patient and leave him a message with your contact info and what it is regarding and your interest in pressing charges. email works better for him since he is very busy. he will be able to print your email and ad them to his files so the judge has them to read. be thorough about things and amounts of money but don't overload the guy. just the facts will do with your contact info. investigators name is CHAD ELLIS. #319-653-2107 email: [email protected] when you email him put *** LOGISTICS THEFT CASE as the subject.

What about the brokers that have some of this money paid on these loads that should go to a few owner operators who fell into this nightmare? What a sad state of affairs.

if you are a broker and gave loads to him then i'd be calling the investigator to. you will have to get in line. he didnt just do cattle loads. freight. hopper. stepdeck etc. jb hunt paid him for 57 of 60 loads and he still hasnt paid the owner ops. and it goes on and on and on. this aint the only site he's operating on.

dont feel bad. he was put on the fmcsa radar several months ago. noone got after it. then we called. his parole officer blew us off and said it was civil not criminal and on and on. wasnt until recently they finally got serious about it. so while they blew it off he was racking up more victims when he should have had his parole revoked a long time ago for stealing from people. its a pathetic situation. shouldnt have gotten this far.
