Any recommendations on Insurance Agents for older model Trucks, for full coverage? Being told ( after restoring and older Pete) they won't give anything but Libility on these older trucks, exception, Antique Show Trucks. It seems that this is new, as of 2013, companys, are not wanting to write anything over 10 yrs old. I have too much in this to not have it insured. Thughts?

We run an older model Pete ourselves. Our insurance is through OOIDA in Grain Valley Mo.. We have been with them for over 5 yrs.. They have a very detailed checklist of add-ons and options on the truck. Right down to the brand of lights in the lightbars. It's very thorough on updates, overhauls, and money spent on restoration if applicable. We aren't advertising that they are the best or only ones out there by any means. It's just who we went through. Having an older truck has its advantages we believe. They are just cool...

We have a restored 87 pete, never had any idea that when we started the restore we would have issues on insurance. We have others and a long no accident history, but are now being told they will only do liabilty on this due to the age, As we all know, it costs alot to refurbish these older trucks, hate to put it out there w/ no protection on our investment. Been told this just started as of 2013, that the companys cannot write them.
