The Depatment of Transportion has indicated it will grant a 90 day waiver of the new hours of service rule reguarding the 30 mintue break. For the livestock industry this is a small victory. We must kept presure on the Depatment of Transportion for exemptions for our industry.

It is NOT only for local drivers. The waiver applies to any driver transporting livestock or poultry. My suggestion is for you to read the rules before posting.
