The Eby has a heavier ramp and it wears out faster (just my opinion) you will need to grease the Eby more then the rest of the stock trailers to make it so you can use it properly all of this is just my personal opinion from having used them and I prefer the Merit or the wilson but we each have our own preferences |

Ebys are a good trailer as long as you're willing to maintain it properly. A opinion of experience. Also with my 379 flattop with a cat engine and a full load of fuel on (270 gallons) my empty weight is 33,000. Might I mention that is a 53' spread axle. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I have had a 2008 53ft spread since new love it. Normal cost of repairs to my merit i had before.I have blown 3 air bags though and they are a odd size. I just make sure to keep a spare on hand. Will be getting another new eby end of this year. W900 empty weight of 32,700 same as my 50 merit. |

I HAVE OWNED LOTS OF EBYS, VERY COMPAREABLE TO WILSON, VERY DURABLE. GREAT FLOOR LIFE AND THE BEST PART IS THE COMPANY MENO EBY THAT OWNS THE CO IS A GREAT PERSON. |
