Never have used a factoring company. Always deal with customers who dont feel the need to live on my money for 30 days. Most of my customers pay on delivery or within the week. A few take 2 weeks. Thats all I can contribute. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

My personal opinion is if you have to use a factor,Your already in trouble finacially .There is not enough money in any of this trucking to be giving any percentage to anybody, but a broker if you have to use one.Just my persoal opinion after 43 years of trucking, and it aint getting better. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

Only on my hoppers I use apex in Ft. Worth Tx. Simply because there are so many invoices/brokers I dont have to keep track of who has paid and who hasnt. They only get on an avg. three percent. They do alot for that three percent too. I have nothing bad to say about them, If it wasnt for them i couldnt wait on my cow money like i do!!! | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

I have a very bad taste in my mouth for factoring companies. As far as im concerned, they are just more people out here trying to pinch some money off a working man who is already pinched to death. Freight companies are the worst with some of them wanting to keep your money for as long as 39 days.I dont need to tell you that when your shelling out 1200 dollars a day to try to keep 2 trucks going it can get down right mean. Then half the time they will find some reason to hold it longer. I did exchange info once with a factoring company when it got real tight on me but i was able to pull thru till the money started coming in and have never used them. Now when im going to think ABout adding a truck or making a change in what im doing i try to figure in how bad that can get. I just wish people would stop trying to pinch the working man and go to work themselves. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

That's a whole lot what's wrong with the industry today. To many fingers in the pie and not enough pie.I think brokers and factoring companies should be outlawed. They are just in it for the easy buck. |
