We should be getting 4.50 but as long as trucks are taking loads for 2.50 it will never happen People are scared that they wont get any more work if they turn loads down. If people couldnt get a truck for a few days because they were to cheap they would go up on rate. But there is always someone operating on a shoestring budget that take the cheap loads. its kinda like this we have alot of out staters hauling cattle into our wonderful state and then they neel down to the broker for there back haul!! So dont you BLAME COLORADO its all you out of staters that have ruined our rate !!!!! sick tired of being quoted 2.95 to 3.25 for rate and yes i sit for that!!!! the brokers tell me it dont matter we will get some out stater to haul it for back haul!!!!! glad its you and not me to haul that cheap i couldn sleep at night!!!!!!!!

No joke we have the same problem in Texas last week seen a load from south Texas to the panhandle for 2.50 a mile and it didnt last 2hrs . i know everybody has bills to pay but i promse if everyone would please pickup a dang calculator it aint rocket science and if you aint smart enough to figure out your goin in the hole at $2.50 a mile hell ask somebody . we have hauled 2 loads in the last 2 weeks and i promise i aint lost no money. The problem with that is, if you do not own your own trailer, turn down a load, the company you are pulling for holds a grudge, and consyantly keeps that tucked away and eventually you won't have any work, and have to find someone else to pull for. REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE
