if you are hauling for less than the highest price per gal of fuel in route your just spinning your wheels.if fuel is 4.50 a gal you need 4.50 a mile | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

We should be getting 4.50 but as long as trucks are taking loads for 2.50 it will never happen People are scared that they wont get any more work if they turn loads down. If people couldnt get a truck for a few days because they were to cheap they would go up on rate. But there is always someone operating on a shoestring budget that take the cheap loads. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

The problem with that is, if you do not own your own trailer, turn down a load, the company you are pulling for holds a grudge, and consyantly keeps that tucked away and eventually you won't have any work, and have to find someone else to pull for. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |
