my o/o bought a truck a year ago on a 2007 pete and he requested a buy out and they what him to pay $98,000 to buy it out after paying $3000.00 a month for a year plus the $10,000.00 they been holding for a year PEOPLE PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS TRUCK CAPITAL IN GULF PORT MS AND PASS THE WORD AROUND | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

used to be united truck group. I found a 2003 pete extended hood down there and me and the salesman worked out a price. I then bought a ticket on a/a flew down and the salesman met me at the airport. We went and found the truck on the lot I inspected it then took it for a 15 mile test drive. Finallly i decided to buy it after all this the salesman said "yeah you can have it just leave me a cashier check and take the truck home with you but I dont have a title I will mail it to you." After all the time and money i spent I was extremely pissed and had to buy a return ticket home with no truck. | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

im telling you i dont know if i should help bale him out of this mess or if i should tell him to dump it and walk away and help him out on a different truck at a dealer the problem with him letting go of this truck is that he spent a lot of monney on this truck to make it shine and look very good looking truck |

Selling a motor vehicle without a title is highly illegal. Dealers are suppose to present buyer the title at the time of closing the deal. I would think you could get them to reimburse your money that you are out of the air tickets and such.....if you wanted to push it. I agree with you both, that it is BS, but unless people do something about it, they will just continue to do that type of thing to others. Our economy has gotten to the point that the government has ruined credit and credit ratings, so you are seeing more and more of these "buy here, pay here" places. i used to repo for this company and i don't anymore cause their are completely crooked.....all their trucks have GPS in them but they dont tell you....i've been around enough to know they are complete rip offs....and its nothing but a bunch of BS...they are actually being investigated by some law enforcement agency.....DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM SCUM BAGS | REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE |

BAIL OUT! do not give them any more money. My brother bought a truck from them 7 or 8 years ago. same story, he gave them a lot of money down because he had "bruised credit" and they seemed willing to help. When he got there he learned they had indeed sold the truck he made a deal on weeks earlier. The salesman kept telling him it was "ready to go". he ended up bringing home another truck they had because he was in desperate need of a truck. they also could not produce a title for it and he ran on temporaries, as he could not license the truck with no title, until the state said no more.
