I live in central Nevada and am thinking of either purchasing a trk & trl. or a 48 foot cattle trailer,it has been years since I hauled livestock and am thinking of doing it to stay closer to home as have been running a reefer for what seems like forever, and Im getting to old for these JIT produce loads and running to the midwest. Now I know I should forget about this nonsense and move my seat too the porch,But that aint gonna happen. Any input would be appreciated.

No way would or should you even think about a trk and trailer. The trk will beat you to death. I used to have one and by the time I got to elko from ca I wanted somebody to kill me. The semi can haul as much as a trk and trailer and you wont be asked to go to the mountain goat country that the truck and trailer folks will want you to go. Plus semi's are everywhere and you will be so much happier.

Well I must say I drove a Trk & Trl Tanker for 29 years spreading road oil on them mountain roads for Sheldon Oil & Telfer Tank Lines and retired and bought a 379 pete and a 48 foot reefer all on air ride and a spread axle on the trailer and can't really say it rides that much better than the T&T,besides the scenery is nice in them sticks and I live in the sticks. Also they seem the be real proud of these used Semi cattle racks as far as prices go and I woul like to be versitle either way I go.
and thank you folks that gave your input.
