I wonder when the rest of the cow hauling community will pull their head out of their asses and start valuing themselves and their equipment. $3.50?? $3.25???? Nonsense. I guess I was raised different where you get what you pay for, instead of cutting rates to get work why not raise rates and let’s all compete for the highest quality work. Clean trailers good equipment, being on time and good stockmanship. I agree with you this crazy cutting the rates the driver and the truck come away with barely enough to cover costs,and so broker who I have have found out is usually double brokering the makes the most money.
