Good luck with that. Been at this game for almost 14 years and still lucky to get loads back more than a couple times a month. Unless you want to go through one of the "big outfits" that will grab loads up, broker them out, and then take 6 weeks to pay. Thats on money that JBS pays within ten days. Like I said...good luck with that.

I have talked to them direct but they never get or (give) me a load. Thought there might be some order buyers in those areas i could talk to and maybe get somewhere with them. Thanks.

I wish you the best of luck with that. The person that lines up the trucks out there at Plainwell has a brother or something that owns a bunch of trucks so you know where the loads are goin. But I wish you the best of luck.

This is funny, I just received a call from the guy who lines up trucks to Plainwell and he was curious how he would go about finding this long lost brother or something of his so he could meet him! JBS Packerland the company, do own their own trucks, but none of the dispatchers have any investment in them. So I am curious where your info comes from? As far as the original post and wanting to know how to get loads, just call them and keep calling. They are like any other company, they have trucking companies that they like to use because they are established and they know what they are getting but if you are persistent, eventually you will have a truck where they need one and they will use you. Then just make sure you do a good job. This time of year everybody and their dog is wanting to go east and they only have so many loads that they can take a day. So maybe try and help them out when it is slow and show them what kind of job you can do and get your name established so they will remember you next year. And believe me even then it will be hard to get a load, just because of all the competition you will be fighting to get east. Good luck, Brian at Prime Time REPLY REPLY WITH QUOTE

You need to get a shippers packet from JBS and return it with all the information.call Fred Rush in Greenbay and see if he can help you he does the shipping and he can get the info faxed to you make sure that you send all required material back to him it is a 11 page fax and you have to sign their contract but you must follow up and sometimes it takes him a day or two to get it faxed but it works. Hope this helps at least you have a starting point.
