I just bought an 06 KW W900L wtih an eight bag suspension. I would like to dump the front drive. Just wondering if anyone would know how to do this or some "constructive" ideas? Thanks.

you would need to get a air dump and switch that they use on spread axle flat beds and plumb it the same way then you can drop the air out of the front axle and put the weight on your steer axle or put a air presure regulator on your front air bags so they dont compleatly empty out and then you can regulate how mutch weight you put on your front axle and make sure you ridr hight regulator is on the rear axle you can get thease parts at most truck and trailer dealers

eight bags are a pain , 25 years ago they were and still are . You need electric over air quick release valve ,plumbed in after the leveling valve . Good luck with the tickets

takes weight off your drives and puts it on your steer axle. works good if you do it right, but the 8 bag system sucks...

Your over loaded on your drivers , roll your steer axle all the way across the scale ,hit the switch dump your front drive axle ,now you just threw a bunch of weight on your steer axle from your drivers .

California used to hate us cow trucks so bad ,the scale goons used to jump up on our steps and tell us to keep our hands on the wheel. Now it's simpler just not to go there

If your gunna try that be sure to run the discharge line off the dump valve under your bunk inside the cab.  If you hit that switch and the scale master hears the air dump out you will have to  scale again and again untill the scale hand has got your weight as close as he can to give you your overweight ticket and for the dump valve at the same time.  Your best bet is to forget the valve and just dont cross the scale and if you are loading someplace where you cant go around load legal.

the dumping air into th bunk aint the best idea they figured that out long ago so they stand up there and listen! it does work well to dump it into your exaust - cant hear a thing!
