Everyone is saying fuel is down, so the rates have to go down,B.S. Yes fuel is down but everything else is not down. Fuel is just a small piece of the pie, when maintance cost, insurance, cost of living keeps going up. Personally I will not haul a load of livestock for less than $4.00 a mile prorated. But then again I have some very loyal customers that know, I will get the loads there on time and not have any dead cattle or hurt cattle. So in short reputation pays a big part in this industry.

The real problem is all these freight haulers hauling cattle it's pretty obvious who hauls back hauls unfortunately all the real cattle haulers are going away and we got this new breed especially the morons who haul for bullseye
